New CBCT Scanner

We are delighted to welcome the newest member of our team to the Hertfordshire Centre for Dentistry.

The Axeos cone beam scanner by Dentsply Sirona is the latest addition to our digital evolution.

We have always had the ability to CT scan our patients but upgrade is a giant leap forward.

The improvements are not only limited to the vastly improved image quality, but the integration of artificial intelligence allows us to diagnose and plan with greater accuracy than ever before.

The seamless integration with the Primescan intra-oral scanner and Cerec milling units onsite, will start to unlock the potential of the full digital workflow here at the Hertfordshire Centre for Dentistry.

The uses of CT scanning stretch across the entire dental spectrum from restorative, implants, orthodontics and endodontics. In fact, it is hard to think of an area where the improved scanning and diagnostic capability will not benefit our patients.

With the scans soon to be moved to a cloud based system it will be even easier than ever to refer, share and collaborate with our colleagues to continue to deliver dental care of the highest quality for our patients.
