Overall job purpose:
Offer and deliver High Quality NHS and Private Dental Care options to help all be the best version of themselves.
You will be responsible for working with the wider OBEX team to grow your personal brand of dentistry and in the process be the best version of yourself.
You will be committed to ongoing Professional Development to maintain your skills, remain current and act as a personal and professional role model to other OBEX team members.
As part of the OBEX family you will support the OBEX commitment to give back to the communities that Practice serves to help address wider health inequalities.
Critical responsibilities:
Clinical: Deliver High Quality Clinical Care, within your Scope Of Practice (as per GDC guidelines) to all patients offering NHS and Private options as part of the OBEX Team.
Marketing: Engage with OBEX Marketing Function build your OBEX brand and agree Marketing of patient services to drive your Private revenue. This will include attending Community and Charity events.
Leadership: Engage with the Practice and Head Office resources to efficiently and effectively design support from the wider team to help you drive up your revenue. This will include participating as a mentor in the OBEX Dental Nurse Academy Training Programme.
Governance: Engage with the Senior Business Manager to discuss the outcome of Clinical Record monitoring, to ensure all learns are embraced to work towards Best Practice as per FGDP Guidelines.
Clinical Skills Lab / PDP: Engage with the OBEX team to agree and review a Personal Development Plan to help you become the best version of yourself.
You will be expected to take part in Clinical Skills Development training delivered by OBEX Clinicians and engage in a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach when caring for patients. (In addition to any external training courses that you enrol on).
Other: Attend Team Building Days (such as Time Out For Life, at the IVY Club in London) to build and boost team morale.

Internal: Clinicians, Head Of Operations, Head of Business Development and Senior Business Managers
External: Dental Trade and Profession Organisations
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a General Practice setting
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary Teams, including skills mix with DCPs
- Experience of patient plans and high-quality patient journey (preferred)
- Advanced Knowledge of EXACT Dental (SOE) System (preferred)
- Experience of NHS contracts and their delivery and the interface with private work
- Experience in marketing and the use of social media in marketing activities
Education and qualification(s)
- GDC Registration
- BDS Degree (or equivalent)
- MJDF / MFDS (Preferred)
- Post Graduate Certificate In Restorative Dentistry (Preferred)
- Certified In Implant Dentistry (Preferred)
- Certified in Aesthetic Dentistry (Preferred)
